

My apologies for not getting this newsletter out sooner. There has been a lot going on and it took awhile to adjust the class and rehearsal schedule to accommodate as many people as possible.
Changes to the schedule can still occur, so please be sure to check the LBS website for up-dated information.
Congratulations to all the dancers in City Center Ballet's production of Cinderella, and to those behind the scene who helped make it happen. What an amazing experience! Over 800 people enjoyed the magic you created on stage.

The following classes are performing together for the 25th annual Invitation to the Dance performance on Saturday, May 30 at 4pm.
Ballet I/II (Ballet Suites)Class and Rehearsal Schedules for Jen's and Mina's pieces for the Festival and May 30 have been emailed. Let me know if you haven't received them.
An invoice is attached if the costume deposit did not cover the cost; or if a balance is due for tuition or dance wear expenses.

June 6 (Sat): Classes end for Semester dancers.
June 8-12: Guest Teacher Chérie Noble
June 16-20: Guest Teacher Darcy Naganuma
June 20 (Sat): Classes end for Monthly dancers.
June 8-July 10: Open classes, age 6 & up, in ballet, jazz and modern. See website for more info.
July 27-August 7: Open classes, age 6 & up, in ballet, jazz and modern. See website for more info.
Chérie Noble will be teaching Ballet III, IV & V with Pointe and Variations.
Darcy Naganuma will be teaching Modern, Jazz & Hip Hop. Please note that June 20th is a Saturday.
Monthly tuition only covers the cost of Guest Teacher classes that you are enrolled in. If you want to attend additional Guest Teacher classes then there will be a fee of $15 per class. The schedule will be available shortly.

Hosted by Lebanon Ballet School, the Lebanon Dance Festival is a full day of dance workshops for dancers, ages 12 and up. Ballet with Chérie Noble, Modern with Alex Brady, Flamenco with Kati Garcia-Renart, and Oriental Dance with Maral Yessayan. There will also be a 7:30pm Public Performance at Lebanon Opera House. Tickets are: $12 call 603.448.0400. (*See Note below).
There is still space for eight more dancers, 12 and up, to participate in the Festival workshops. See Linda.
Putting the Festival together is an enormous undertaking. Volunteers are needed:If you are interested in helping please contact Linda,

Lebanon Ballet School's 25th annual Invitation to the Dance will be on Sat, May 30 at 4:00pm at the Lebanon Opera House. Students, ages 3 and up will be present dances in ballet, modern and jazz.
General Admission Tickets are available from the school and the Lebanon Opera House Box Office at 603-448-0400.

Lebanon Ballet School is proud to present our 2009 Summer Intensive Program - a concentrated dance curriculum of ballet, jazz, modern, pointe & variations with workshops in choreography, make-up and costumes. The staff of LBS and international guest teachers create the best summer intensive offered in the area.

Tuition is non-refundable unless an intensive is cancelled. Classes are dependent upon sufficient registration and are filled on a first-come first-served basis. Final placement, intermediate or advanced, is dependent upon teacher approval.

In addition to the ticket price, the Lebanon Opera House will now be charging $1 per seat for their Theater Preservation fee. They also may charge additional handling fees.
